Question for fellow owners of the dark mountain…what optic did you mount on yours? And is it useless when you change barrels and calibers ? I was thinking of mounting a bow sight with 3 pins for long barrel, short barrel 2 different calibers…

I've never tired a 3 pin archery sight, if the difference between the 4 groups you are contemplating is only on the vertical axis it would probably work ok for 3 different elevation holds.

I'd be more inclined to map out the different groups once you settle on ammo your happy with and then figure out the amount of adjustment needed to go from one group to the next and then keep a "cheat sheet" with your kit.

I shot mine with a little 1x prism sight.... too bad the head space was so far out in mine it resulted in allot of light primer strikes... don't understand how you screw that up so bad.
Do you have the 9mm barrel? I get one or two light primer strikes a trip. They seem to shoot if I put them back in though. You think its an excessive headspace issue?
