Darn Tumbler Packed it In [Fire hazard]

My "PAST" tumbler [about 4-5 years old] packed it in today. Motor stalled while operating, and started to buzz and stink. Good thing I was in my room at the time to shut the sucker off, since I have since learned that there is a recall on them due to this problem, and that several fires have resulted. Just a head's up for those who own a Past tumbler with a tan colored "tub" and a brown bottom with a "PAST" sticker on it. Some of these units have a problem with the induction motor. Stangely enough, my old Lyman packed it in a couple of days ago. Didn't get all that hot, but I could smell it.
I've never run my tumblers unless I'm in vicinity for that reason.
Good thing that I just picked up a large Dillon. Had been running the two Lymans and the Dillon, starting to prep. all my cases for the next season.
 
MY RCBS tumbler has been going strong for many years now, sometimes for days at time! I wonder if it would be a good idea to put some sort of circuit breaker plug in on tumblers, since they re often unattended.
 
brass polisher

I have been using a Thumbler's Tumbler for years to polish brass. It is actually a rock polisher and was designed to run continuosly for thirty days while the rocks roll around and get smooth. The only pain is having to undo and open the top to load/check the brass. I had to replace the drive belt and found an "O" ring at work that is the perfect size and thickness. My model will hold up to twelve pounds of rocks or 200 .270 cases.
