Date and Time for IPSC Nationals in 2011

Euxx, what I mean is it would be neat if when a person clicked on a stage to see those results, it would also show the match copy image of the stage (If available), you did that with the ICS stage which was cool.
if I click on my name I see all my previous matches you have, but I'd like to be able to just see a breakdown on me for whatever match I want to look at. If you check out the BC IPSC website and see how HungryBeagle did it there you'll see what I mean. It's all beyond my skill level with a computer and I'm not sure how much extra work I'm suggesting for you. what you've got is already pretty awesome.
Also you sort the stages by weight, being able to sort by actual number would be nice too.
 
Slavex, I see. I know how BC system works, and it is pretty much the same as in USPSA. I choose to do it a bit differently, so clicking on the name you get the same history and it works consistently from everywhere on the site. You can still get what you are looking for by using checkboxes on the right site for one or multiple shooters or you can also use "summary" report to see not only you, but all competitors for the match. Though I could add a link to stage comparison from some other field, say - percentage.

As for stage diagrams, they probably could be attached using media linking feature, as well as any other photos or videos for individual stages or competitors. I will have to make some changes to allow to attach links not specific to competitors...

Oh, about stage sorting, they are currently sorted alphabetically. So, 10 is before 2...
 
Hey guys, there was alot of commotion around my table when they were handing out the Standard B class trophies, but I thought I heard the speaker say they were only handing out first and second B in Standard. Did I hear that correctly? There were lots of B shooters, just wondering why they didn't hand out third place.

I have never seen that much water on a stage in my life....and that says a lot coming from EESA!!!

Dino has some pics of me wrestling with the sewer truck's hose sucking it all up.

The video was after the water had sat for about two hours and drained down about an inch or so.

My range was a limestone swimming pool.

That pond was not in the middle of a stage. We actually built the stage around the pond. BTW that pond is not history as we spend $1500 to correct the drainage and install a catch basin.

I would also like to point out that that water created the highlight of the match for me. After being soaked for hours and pumping out the water I was beat......totally spent. Then my last squad came with 11 people. I was pretty down in spirits. Then 6 more competiors who had to skip stage 6 earlier due to the water showed up and I was pretty much a gonner.. It was at that point I looked up range and saw Moodyblueberry walking towards the range with an armada of ROs about 100 yds behind her. To see the other ROs that had completed their stage runs (and were no doubt equally tired) coming to help dig our crew out of the backlog was a true indication of the team we had going there. There must have been 6 CROS and another 8 ROs all lending a hand scoring and patching those last 12 or so competitors. It certainly brightened my outlook that is certain.
 
I worked the bunker Friday afternoon after the rain with Virgil and the boys. It was completely flooded and and the canopy had partially collapsed from rain build up. We managed to dig a trench down the side and drain most of the water and move the canopy from the lake.

Stage was a little muddy but things went smoothly and it was almost dry by the end of the day.

Benji was on the same squad with us and can say this, he was working very hard like everybody else on our squad :bump:
 
Nationals

Just like to thank all the staff for all of their efforts to make the Nationals such a success. It is certainly appreciated.
 
Just a note of thanks to all who contributed their effort and personal time to make this match such a success. The fact that we were able to finish less than an hour off schedule on the freaky rain day is a testament to the sheer horsepower under the hood that most of us never see. Great match, and well done!

I tried to persuade the big guy upstairs to hold off on that rain for 2 days… apparently I am not as deep into His “good books” as I thought. (What did I ever do to Him???)

That rainfall was UNREAL… There was a lot of behind the scenes “discussions” about how to handle it… Ultimately, we all got wet, no one got hurt, no one shot through bagged targets, the RO Team stuck it out and we were back on schedule before end of day… Great job to the dedicated Nationals Staff!!!

Indeed. It was a tough call on your part but a good one.
I think most of my gear is dry now and I can't find anything in there that's rusting.
