Dating a Mauser hunting rifle?

Post pictures of the rifle and all markings. You will get your answer eventually. Sounds like WW1 or earlier possibly but purely a guess with info given. Sporterized rework maybe? Like I say need pics and more info.

Waaay too little information.
Sort of like asking "I have a Ford pickup truck. When was it made?"

Does it have a crest stamped on top of the front of the receiver? It may be a 1908 Brazilian contract Mauser...Most had the DWM markings you speak of.

DRS = Dennis Sorenson? Perhaps he installed the 6x47 barrel.
The crown on the floor plate looks Swedish, but a Swede would be Mauser, Carl Gustav or Husqvarna.
Action is a small ring.
Cocks on opening or closing? If it cocks on closing, the action is going to be over a hundred years old.

Action is from a Mexican contract rifle. Could be a 1902 or maybe an earlier rifle. More pics are needed. If it cocks on opening it is most likely a 1902 which is a small ring 98 style action but it could have had a #### on opening conversion installed.

Pics of the rear of the action would help.
