My daughter went white tail deer hunting last year, but all we could find was mule deer bucks. So this year she applied for mule deer bucks here in Zone 5 in Saskatchewan. Dad's really proud of this first time hunter! Sorry but I have a b@#$h of a time posting photo's so I will just post the links.

Excellant!! Great pics as well. Congrats to both of you and I know how proud you must be. I know how I felt when my daughter connected, although it was shortly after she was married. She submitted the pics and an article to BIG BUCK magazine and it was published in the Spring 2005 issue, page 76. I'd post the pics but my posting skills,^$%$#@$%)*%$#

Casull, yes it was a muzzle loader in-line. I have edited my original post to reflect that. Funny, her deer is almost the same height/width as the one I got last year...less mass though

This is my youngest daughter and she is 15 now. She is not usually a big gun shooter, preferring to shoot .22 rather than muzzleloader. Of course, she wants to get a doe this year with her 6.5x55!

My oldest daughter is now 17....she doesn't hunt at all. However, she shoots BPCR silhoutte and has since she was 8! That is a lot of family fun.

Congrats........

Nice looking Mulie. Sure wish we had them in MB.

Now if I could just convince my 9 year old to go with me to the range I wouldn't have to shoot the bow down the driveway every night when her mother is at work.:( She talks about wanting to go but chickens out at the end. In time.....
