There are a number of serving police officers who are sponsored. Remember most of the sponsored shooters out there are not getting full-time jobs from the companies that sponsor them or big bucks, you could probably count those that are on one hand. Rob Leatham, Julie Golob, Max Michel (not 100% sure) are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head, a large number make their living by teaching or otherwise supplementing their income.

Thats also when Browning will unveil its new line up including some interesting upgrades to the Hi-power platform, as well as completley new models for the growing 3-gun market

Sponsored, should be no problem, but I thought Sevigny was a full time Glock employee. If he is just sponsored by Glock, then it should not be a problem for Vogel to be sponsored.

When I was at the S&W factory last fall, I just missed meeting Julie G. The other shooters like Miculek are hardly ever at the factory (according to my tour guide) but Julie is a full time employee.

If they put a DA/SA Hi Power, that would be competitive. Not sure what else they offer for 3 gun?

I thought they had a deal with FN which means a Browning version of the FNP and versions of the Scar/SLP for three gun.
 
The sordid and tragic story on team Glock is breaking on the internet right now, with the coach being arrested for molesting the 15yo female on the team.

A 45-year-old McDonough man turned himself in to authorities Thursday and was charged with ###ually molesting the 15-year-old daughter of a family friend, Henry County police said.

William Leonard Abbate was booked into Henry County Jail on multiple charges including aggravated child molestation, statutory rape and ###ual exploitation of children, police said. Additional charges are expected from other jurisdictions, they said.

A professional shooter, Abbate was a coach to the victim and traveled with her and her shooting team to other states, police said.

While most of the molestations occurred in Abbate’s home and at his farm in Butts County, others are believed to have occurred in other states, police said. Henry County police learned of the allegations when the victim’s father contacted the department.

The victim gave detectives a timeline based on her professional travel schedule, and this helped identify specific place and dates where the incidents occurred, police said.

Henry County detectives executed search warrants at Abbate’s residence and farm and obtained evidence that supported the victim’s statements, police said. Investigators also interviewed witnesses.

The investigation is continuing.

Out of respect I think it would be best if we don't mention or speculate who the young lady is, she'll have a hard enough time in the days that come. I know it has been speculated and names mentioned on other forums, hopefully we can be better people than that.

This is something outside of the sport that unfortunatly will have a negative impact on it. I think it would be best if this is deleted untill its sorted out. Nothing good can come from plastering this on the internet
