After a few revisions, and so many hours of beers... I think I have worked out the majority of the tweaks to my little badger furniture. It has been a lot of trial and error, tweaks, adding features like stronger and zero-able iron sights... working my metalworking skills to make an aluminum rail, and a few aesthetic improvements. I have bought 6 of these rifles to test and compare dimensions, and fitment, so I am pretty confident that the parts will fit most any little badger out there. The three small holes by the vent cuts are spaced to fit the factory rails as well, if you want to keep accessory mounting options.

Anyway here are the details:

Material: PLA or tough PLA material (Brand is determined by colour).
Printer: Creality CR10S pro V2
Print time : running around 36 hours....

Factory weight: 2.9 lbs
Weight: 3.7 lbs (loaded with all accessories but optic)
Weight with optic: 4.6 lbs (as pictured)

The gun is certainly not minimalist anymore, but is also not heavy, and quite a bit more comfortable/ergonomic.

Here are a few pics if the final prototype:

Thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone,

I plan to trade off some of the old prototypes, and am talking to a retailer (sponsor) to list the kit or possibly complete guns.

I was mostly doing this for myself, I will likey make a thread in the Rimfire parts WTS EE eventually to sell off old prototype bits.

Nothing saying that I might not start a little shop eventually.. I have already PMd the CGN business admin.

i thought your new grip in the first pic looked great then on the 6th pic i realized it wasnt see-thru but tape.

This is some nice work. I think I'm going to have to grab a 3D printer. Just looking to add the grip and thread protector, when my gun gets here next Wednesday. You've inspired me, Sir! Thanks!
