Dawson Creek-PG

We went to Fort Saint John bc and we got one the first day then we had to return home do to work calling me. I should have forgotten my cell at home. It was a great time
 
We hunted just across the border in Ab last fall and saw nothing. We had previously hunted there in 05 and 06 and saw moose, deer and elk daily, last fall nothing. Apparently two years of in excess of 6' of snow really hit the herds hard.
 
My buddy and I nailed a couple of big ones ( 3 brow tines) this year near Chetwynd also saw a couple more after we tagged out. Saw a few that were close to legal as well.
 
I've lived in both prince george and Dawson Creek / Fort st john....


and if you cant find a moose in the D.C. area or first couple hundred KM's of the Alaska Highway you should probably buy your food in a store.
