Its been about 4 months since ive shot any handgun, even longer for a Glock as my last pistol was a 1911. Im shooting a little high and to the left, but not bad for a guy that doesn't shoot a lot. Guess my point is for those guys that say they just cant shoot Glocks at all. Well I suck! So not sure what you guys are doing.

The target posted is the best I could do today, that's 50 rounds. I was shooting American Eagle 180g FMJ.

The gun was brand new and unfired, mags were new too. Zero Failures. Gun had the stock sights.

So TDC and others, take it easy on the nose. Not trying to be a super assassin, just showing what the average Joe blow with very little training can do with a Glock.

Its not bad shooting! I'm surprised your hands were not chewed up afterwards. I have a grip sleeve on my RTF which makes it a little easier on the hands which equals a little better accuracy IMO.

I love the RTF frame, its the best imo. dont find it hard on the hands at all. During my black badge course it actually got full of blood from use and was still quit gripable.

Quick fix move rear sights right a lil bit , right fix is trigger control and a couple thousand rounds. Dry firing doesnt do all that much imho.

Sorry I'm late.

There is some consistency there and that's important. Diagnosing and correcting the issue is much easier when it appears to be a single issue. Scattering hits all over hells half acre indicates a shooter with serious and numerous issues.

Why did you shoot from such a range after such a dry spell? Did you do any closer work, and at what pace were you shooting?

Nope, no closer work, was not rapid fire. Was just concentrated shots, not drawn from a holster or anything. Ill move it in a few feet next time out. I tend to like to shoot at those distances to challenge myself is all. The more I go out the more ill tighten up that group, just out of practice.

I would half that range and master the fundamentals before moving back. If you can't do it in close you can't do it.

What's your goal? Tight groups, speed, or a blend of both?

goal is to have fun. If over time that generates tight groups then great.
