Well we had a great day at the range. 17" of snow and minus 9. I bought a bunch of beautiful rifles from an estate sale, so today was the day to see how they shot. Being the owner I was first to go. After my friends saw that I wasn't wearing the bolt in my forehead we heated up the iron. First up was a 1911 smle No1Mk3, sporter with original sights, great action and a good shooter. Next was a P14RE sporter. What smooth action and with the peeps this one was a favourite. Third was 91/30. It knocked the snow of the range roof with the concussion. Action was stiff but this shot well too.Then we progressed to pistols and an AR. All in all a great day!
