"DC Co" cartridge

If you want 20lb of nicely patina'd, left on the land in the '50s, TW & LC .30-06 brass, you can have it free, for the postage.

Thanks for the offer, which I am declining, since I have plenty of the 30-06 brass, including the one's I used in the arctic, which I rarily reload, since they are all Berdan primed.

However, I still find it very special to find old empty brass out in the wilderness, because they tell their own story of a past and happy hunting adventures, and starts to think that I to, should leave some brass out there for future hunters to find and wonder about :)

I've seen 7.63 Mauser pistol, .43 Mauser, .280 Ross, .40-82, Indian WWI .303 Mk. VII fired in a Ross, coiled .450 Express, .44WCF, .22HP, .250-3000, .303 Sav. various other assorted late 19th, early 20th century brass found on the land. Musket balls (trade gun size), gunflints. These ml items were near the tree line on W. coast of Hudson's Bay, no doubt traded from Fort Prince of Wales. History in the Arctic doesn't tend to be obscured by growth of vegetation. Talked to elders who had used ml guns, one gentleman could remember seeing a fl gun used.

tiriaq, its wonderful to do some accidental, gun and shooting related, historical archaeology, while out there hunting and hiking. Makes the whole trip so much more interesting :)
