Does anyone happen to know where one might be able to find the old DD M4 rail wrenches? I'm talking the old old ones with the rail ring that mounted behind the barrel nut, and then spun on to the rail?

For reference: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/512367/daniel-defense-m4-90-free-float-tube-handguard-quad-rail-ar-15-mid-length-aluminum-black

Before anyone asks, yes I've contacted wolverine and they no longer have any, and I've contacted DD directly and they had the same response as wolverine. Nadda

So has anyone seen these available on the interwebs? Or better yet, anyone have one they no longer need?

Bump because I am in search of one of these! Or even one to borrow in YYC? Waiting on reply from Wolverine but does anyone know if they are just purchasable through dealers? Anyone have any tips for getting the barrel nut off without it? Thanks!

If it's the newer one for the RIS2 rails, I think CSC likely has one, or one of the guys their does.

A few options ...

Get a proper size "hook spanner wrench " . Problem is they are expensive considering you will probably use it once

Use a good strap wrench . I have used the Brownells for the DD M4 collar nut . No problem achieving proper torque and you can't scratch the nut

Use the PRI FF hand guard single hook spanner wrench . Its the right size....just has one hook vs the 3 on the DD . No problem using single hook on the DD M4 forend
