Seeking a knowledgeable opinion on what a Daniel Defense MK18 is worth. Plain Jane, no add ons, maybe 1k rounds down the pipe. Seems by the
EE that value is way down on them. It's the model prior to current.

I'll typically use 70% of new as a used price baseline. I think they're about 2200 new so say 1500-1600 for a like new rifle, maybe a little less if it's seen some use. Definitely check the EE for current average pricing.
 
The average listing price on the EE for past few months has been around $1700-1800. My Bro bought one a few months back (couple of years old, good shape, geissele trigger) for $1700. A couple have been on there at that price range for awhile and have not sold.
 
Wolverine was clearing out the older models about a year or so ago for $1499. The newer ones with the latest furniture are quite a bit more expensive. I should have purchased on of them back then.
 
Thanks, that's pretty much what I thought. I'm wondering what a fair price is for one a friend is selling. He's asking $1800 and I think he's crazy, more like $1500 would be fair for a bare rifle.
 
$1400-$1500 would be a fair asking price for the 1st gen model. Maybe $1600 for the newer one with the fugly furniture. Obviously, based on the condition of the rifle.

I bought one at that time for that price very happy I swapped out all the furniture anyways
