Deact WW1 Lewis Gun Value?

How long is a piece of string?

All pieces there, or completely gutted?
Museum quality, or deactivated with a cutting torch?
All numbers match, or mix-master?
Accessories, or no?

A few photos would be helpful.

Last working example I saw (C/A) was listed at $4900 about 3 years ago. A full auto one also sold around the same time for about the same price. I believe the same one showed a few months later on collectors source deactivated for somewhere north of 8K, and was on there less than a day.

Lewis photos

Hope pics work?

^ Jesus that's an early one and you certainly got the look down cold. well done to you. The only things nit picky things I picked up is find a couple of mats/carpets that look like you bought them in the Souq and ditch the rubber and take a piece of piano hinge to mount the rear plate on so when is out on display you can rotate it horizontal and out of view. Outside of those two minor, minor, things you nailed it right on in the looks department.

Mats come out at shows and plate folds under body. Nothing is seen unless, its on the road.

Its a load of fun. The Vickers is full auto acetylene and oxygen mix very loud and fun.

Thanks
Adam
