Deactivated Ar15/10s for sale

Sad. I am always curious about their history and how they came to be useless paperweights.

I would take the sights. They look like the are ok after the destruction. Backward but that is the smallest issue with these

I'm more curious on how they deactivated a piece where nearly every component comes off in some menial way, especially the combo of steel and aluminum. Weld the receivers together, fill the whole thing with epoxy?

The one looks like it has a weld blob on the takedown pin. I also would like to take one apart and have a look

An AR wouldn't be that difficult.

Weld a washer to the receiver pins so they can't be pushed out. Then just find a way to weld the bolt to the chamber or the bolt to the carrier so the BCG can't move.

I love having guns to display on the wall that I don't have to worry about stupid laws on storage. That being said, it's cheaper to just get an airsoft rifle to hang on the way.

that Ar deact would not be too hard to bring back to life,LOL..looks like a LOT of these prohibed Ar's will end up in the wind,as full fuctioning Ar's,,A LOT OF THEM,,so much for public safety, they went from registered to somebody.to in the wind where nobody knows where they are, probably why they ask such high prices, they know what will happen to them,

De activated firearms are good for displays, re enactment etc. Personally I use airsoft for this as they can be made to look good with a little care and attention. They are usually less expensive, you can get types which are difficult /impossible to find in Canada (e.g. C6 and C9, L85 etc), and you can also have some fun in the basement shooting them.
