Deactivated Mosin 91/30

But trigger locks are ugly. A section of nylon coated steel cable around the trigger guard with a padlock tucked neatly away in the display looks better IMO.
Yeah I agree, but for trigger lock display, use the small black thumb sized one that uses a two prong key/wrench. They are hardly noticeable in comparison.

Get your PAL, get a real Mosin, remove the bolt for storage. There is no easier rifle on the planet to remove the bolt from than a Mosin. Google it. When you want to play, put the bolt back in. Never mind the #### and click dewat BS.

One of my friends bought a replica Navy Colt in the states last summer. Could have gotten his RPAL and a working reproduction for the same money and have been able to actually enjoy the thing.

Collector's Source used to have a deactivated #### and click Finn M27 (I believe.) Amusing to me was that they made it clear that the deactivation wasn't done by them. I believe they did that, IMO, because deactivated non-restricted firearms are rather pointless here in Canada and people likely would have judged them for doing it. This isn't the UK where you need to sell your soul and backdoor virginity to get a centerfire, manually operated rifle. Until it is, working models will be much more common than dewats.
