That was about 210 yards. Old FN mauser in 7x57. Nosler BT 150. . fixed 4 power. Sat on my butt on the front lawn and shot across the valley. Tough shot with a thick German style reticle. Too bad I missed his pal.

Nailed number one at about 200 yards. Stopped the call. Waited about 5 min and started again. Number 2 ran in pretty much right over the the dead one. Shot, and missed, but got him through the heart running. Suprised I made that second shot. 6.5x55 with 100grn hollows. That zastava barrel with 1-9 twist shootes them really well. Just over 3000fps. Too bad it's such a heavy beast.

This is a fairly old dead critter. It held #1 pope and young stone sheep for better than 20 years. I think it’s #3 now. Lives in my friends basement.
