Deal alert!

Don't worry, eBay will refund you if it turns out to be a scam. It's happened to me before and I got my money back without much hassle.
 
My guess is we will get a Chinese made fake in about a month since in mind at least, the product wouldn’t have “sold outl” if he could keep collecting payments.
 
I used to always buy Surefire but I'm poor now and they are a little hostile to Canadians too. These Streamlights are about US$110 on 'amazingzone' in the States, might look for one here to see what the Can price is.
 
I see there's some grumbling about Amazon.com and .ca both selling counterfeit Streamlights. For sure the vendors on there are not always honourable about the products they sell, when I was using it more I got some surprises.
 
I own a legit one of these which I am currently loaning to a buddy to try. If and when this one shows up I’ll get mine back and compare them closely. Most Streamlight fakes are easy to spot they rarely care about things like the logo on the button or the orange O-ring etc...
 
I wont knock all chinese sellers. I once bid on an aluminum jeep fuel door.. it had a starting bid of $.01 I put a max bid of $.05 with free shipping 2 days later I won the auction at $.02 paid and figured hahaha a whopping .2 cents wasted,

Well 3 days go by and DHL knocks on my door there it was the jeep door exactly as described shipped around the world and in my hands for 2 pennies... I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!

Nothing yet. It's totally a bust. I called eBay and they said that they can't do much until the last potential arrival date (august 22) otherwise I need to go through (FRAUD ALERT). I'm not in that much of a hurry for my 35$ so I decided to wait until Aug 22 to get my money back. Lol

I just had the same conversation with ebay. I put a note on my file and if nothing arrives by the 23rd they will issue my refund. It's not much $ so not really a big deal.
 
If it states that it takes up to a month to receive it through shipping---and you don't receive it at all---after a month it is too late to ask Ebay for a refund, time will have expired. This is where the rip-off happens. They will simply tell you it's been too long to make a claim

Negative. I spoke to eBay and they told me that I can get my refund after the last potential shipping arrival date (august 22). So anytime after that (if my package never arrived) I can get my refund.

Well, that is good to know as I was led to believe differently. When I sold items on the site years ago when it first started, any returns or other issues with items had to be resolved within a certain time frame...I understood it to be a month from sale date. Maybe the rules have changed since their are way more International buyers and sellers on the site now. I don't do Ebay anymore so I am probably behind these days on the rules...

I filed my refund claim and got a response in less than an hour with my refund. No one needs to wait.

Reason: did not receive item
Additional notes: This seller is a scam
