I have a few. Recently one from weimajack was pretty good bang for the buck.(cheap and decent, all he said it was). Have a few exceptionally nice looking ones, costs vary and so does descriptions as to good and bad, but all in all, if you read a few threads on cleaning and such, you'll be alright, most of em clean up great. And out of all the ones I've had, no major issues from any Russian sks. they all shoot great. I'm no pro, but I'm that guy who buys 1200 rounds at a time. I've had good luck with new stock 1200rnd spam packs of non-corrosive copper washed ammo. No failures, in sks or svt. And they're not expensive.
All in all, sks is a great working rifle. Just find the best looking one you can, and then when you're addicted, you'll own 3 or 4. good luck.
