Where can I buy a smallbore benchrest precision rifle in Canada? Are there any approved dealers that folks can recommend? Would appreciate any direction as having difficulty finding them and local dealers want to sell me the "target" rifle that happens to be on the shelf.

For true precision BR shooting , a more dedicated rifle is necessary. Short of going to a custom rifle , Anschutz, Cooper and Remington as far as I know are the only makers of BR rimfire rifles. There are many other rifles that can be adapted to shoot bench rest. You may even want to search out used equipment. You need to ask yourself what level of BR shooting you want to pursue.

dont think anyone in canada brings them in. do your own import permit, there is a guy in vancouver who has one, nice stuff.
BUT they use lilja barrels so just get a anschutz 2### series with interchangable barrels from lilja and you can do this and get 6 extra barrels to try for the price of a blieker at 6000 canuck all in to your door.
also lilja is now making the drop in barrels with heavy heavy lettering as opposed ot the sctaching that existed before,
would show a pic as I just got 2 of them but off to a shoot in US of a tomorrow

I only know of three prone shooters in Canada with Bleikers (including the one in Vancouver) and they all had to import them directly from the manufacturer in Switzerland.
