I really wish companies would be more transparent, or have a better inventory control system on web purchases , the website should not be able to sell more stock then they have. I know this would not solve this ronin sports problem but I ordered from them june 9th with there website listing stock and have not heard anything . Just got through to miramichi and they have no transfers in my name in progress. Friend who purchased from another retailer 3 days after me has received his handgun this week. The inability to get a response from them through phone or email and the fact they charged the credit card immediately makes me feel like we are being taken for a interest /investment scam .

I've had the same experience with Ronin. I sent the CFO an email and they confirmed there were no tranfers initiated. It shouldn't take weeks for the store to tell you they oversold. I'm still waiting to get my money back, they ignore all calls and emails.

That’s really bad for a business to do this. Earlier I heard that Ronin got shorted by a distributor that had promised them Glocks that were paid for by Ronin but instead forwarded to a larger vendor. That was a douche move by the distributor for sure and affected Ronins customers but after the fact, it’s up to Ronin to do the damage control.

If they are hoping to get more to make up the shortfall, great, but they owe their customers an explanation. To ignore phone calls and email enquires is also a douche move…

My order wasn't even for a glock, it was for a 1911. Seems like this practice is more widespread. I don't mean to #### on a business but if there's an issue they must be transparent about it.

You have every right to #### on a business that takes your money for an item that you thought you purchased on their website and found out later that they oversold and couldn’t honour the transaction. Especially if they still haven’t refunded your money for weeks and refuse to answer emails or the phone.

This is concerning to hear things like this. I find it especially concerning when Bush1 is posting in the other Ronin thread and saying MDC sold their Sigs to other dealers and is now saying they sold their Glocks to other dealers in this thread. If you cannot confirm a delivery date with them then I would be contacting your credit card company. Something stinks with this one. Somebody should start a thread with a poll to see how many people have pre-ordered and not received their order. I bet it would
be interesting.

I’ll give retailers the benefit of the doubt, pretty crazy times if we have done 2 years worth of handgun sales since may29, it seems rampart is dropping the ball, but then again as a business they have to mitigate risk…

I was talking to a retailer yesterday.

Apparently Glock Canada has a large order with thousands of Glocks coming up from the states. Last they heard it was at customs, and were told "any day now".

That’s a bit of good news. I’m thinking the US Glock foreign distributor is wondering what the hell is going on up there in Canada lately… Never sold so many at one time frame in history before, lol

What dealer told you that? Sounds like they are really in the know.

Update: Ronin Sports got their Glock shipment in. There were no 34’s and 44’s but everything else got brought in.
Anyone that ordered an 34/44 will have to wait a week but it’s not looking promising at all. Just got off the phone with the store.
He told me I could get a refund but he told me to wait a week just to see where things are at.
