Dear Experts?

It is a miquelet lock and typical of the Mediterranean area. Miquelets can be recognized by the sears penetrating the sideplate and acting in a horizontal direction (in and out).
That one is a bit strange in the sense that the lock plate has a different outline than most that I have seen. the top jaw of the #### is missing but easy to make a new one.
