Yea they are superb rifles and usually demand a premium. So hopefully you can snag one, they are (in my opinion) the most reliable semi auto rifle ever made.

Check out "forgotten weapons" YouTube torture test of one.

Also as tempting as it may be, don't get one of the .308 conversion ones, stick to the 7.5 French caliber.

The French did convert some to 7.62x51. However they are super scarce and you won't find them.

The .308 ones were done by century arms, some are butchered, some work.

The one classic has is in the original 7.5 French caliber. (7.5x54) and it's an excellent cartridge.

By all means, get one in the original French caliber :)

We have somes of the rifles seen on the videos in stock, I which we could get what Classic is asking for theirs! Tradex had much nicer M48 and K98 rifles a while back for a lot less money!

My friend in Florida examined the Samco guns before the Auction, mostly junk guns stored in bad conditions (Wharehouse flooded a few times). The majority of the items were bought by Century Arms.

Yes my friend Dennis in Florida also told me the same thing. Mostly junk, guns were rusty, mismatched, basically they were the guns nobody else wanted. However, there might be a few jems hidden in there.
