Debating the BCL 102 vs the DMPS Recon G2

Maybe it's too early to ask since the 102 is so new ..

Hoping to pick up one of the two in coming months.

Not too worried about the restricted vs non-restricted aspect of these two rifles, just rifle against rifle.

Any thoughts on this ?
 
It's a personal preference. If you like sinking lots of money into a gun that is range only, then get the recon. For me it's a no brainer being able to grab a NR AR and go where I want , hunt, blast the gong and not have to worry about locks, cases and direct routes. I sold all my restricted firearms because I want my firearms to be more than range toys.
 
If dont care about having a non restricted rifle get the DPMS , it takes a normal AR10 BCG , barrel ect and will probably be less picky with ammo. The 102 sadly seems to have a really tight chamber like a match barrel? might be better if your more concerned about accuracy than dumping all kinds of cheap ammo down range . Seems on this forum people are obsessed with the accuracy of the 102 lol so they may be happy ?? im more interested in a rifle that works with all ammo in cold/hot and dirty conditions and still accurate enough for hunting.. Match barrel or tight chamber in a semi auto = less reliability always ..

Do you mind giving a bit of detail as to why you think the DPMS is a better gun then the 102 ?
