As the title states I'm looking looking to make a couple mods on my G17, one of which is a new slide to accept a Trijicon RMR. I'm debating dabbling into something a little more high end like an Agency Arms, but am open to suggestions. All advice is welcome.

I agree, but I don't mind splurging a bit to have nice product at the end of it. I've been looking at a bunch Zev, Agency Arms, Suarez Int, ect. but I'm having trouble finding as many sites that carry block parts here in Canada. Any advice? I've noticed some of the sponsored ones have some but not many.

They do a really good job. I'm super impressed with the work they did on my Franken Glock G21 10mm. Very professional, quick turn around and reasonable prices.

Not a great picture, but the cerakote job they do is fanTASTIC.

Here's my thoughts on custom Glock slides.

First, a question. OP, what is it (other than an RMR cut) that you hope to achieve with a new slide?
Do you:
A) Hope to improve your pistol shooting abilities by getting a custom slide? (again not considering the RMR)
or
B) Just want something that's going to give you and the guys at the range a woody?

In my humble, but forced oppinion, the buck stops at Black Box if you want to do a custom Glock with RMR. The guys at BBC do fantastic work, and I would agree that most of their offerings will offer you some improvement over your factory Glock.
That being said, spending 1600 dollars on an agency arms Glock slide seems absolutely preposterous to me. For the same price, you can buy a brand new RMR, custom work at BBC, AND a case of ammo and depending on your abilities you'd likely still be better off with the latter. Over priced Glock slides like Agency, or Zev don't offer anything better than a custom job will.
Unless of course your answer was B in which case, do whatever gets your #### up!

I'll be honest to the fact that I was ignorant to BlackBox before I had started this thread. The more I see their work and hear testimonials from other customers, the more inclined I am to get work done through them. Plus I'm having a hard time finding Zev and AA parts online. Is there any other sites I should know about?
