Dec 8th BCL 102 Update

Something tells me Ryan is going to take a day and shut his phone off on Christmas and forget, for a moment, that he'd ever heard of a BCL-102.

And then on boxing day he's going to post the new pre-sale and start it all over again, cause he's a tough SOB and all the whining and snivelling really doesn't bother him, he knows that he's doing a great job, and that most of us appreciate his efforts.

I understand 7.62/308 is the main effort right now, but as soon as you make a 5.56/223 version you’ve got my $2000.

Ideally if it’s closer to 6-7 pounds.

If this is true, I’m definitely ordering one. <$1500 plus 10% off? How can you go wrong. You’re close to t97 territory there, for a Canadian made rifle vs Chicom crap. I don’t care about nea’s history, they have a lifetime warranty and employ Canadians. Will they offer crooked guns like the recent norinco rifles?

Trying to wade through all the @ss kissing posts. Is there an ETA on the specs listing? As of right now no one knows what these are, what parts are actually compatible etc. apparently we can pretty much throw out any info we thought we knew about these with the original versions. I like what I see with the latest version but I would really like to know what’s on the inside. For example, DPMS gen 1 style bCG/barrel or Armalite AR10? 6061 billet? Specs on bolt material etc.

Looking forward to actual info. Although bcl should really be providing this rather than it being left to a distributor.

Everything depends on what it’s worth, good sir. I wouldn’t pay $500 for a sh!tty AR, but I have a sweet $2000 DD one.

I wouldn’t pay $500 for a crappy NR rifle, but I would maybe pay $1000 for one. I’d definitely pay $1500 for a well made one, and I’d definitely pay $2000 for a super high quality one, especially if it’s in the 6-7 pound range.

I Think Ryan said Only 200 units on the second pre order and it was divided up in Black , Green , FDE

How dare you ask!!? But in seriousness, very good post. I'm not a gambling man and it seems I've walked up to the "wheel of chance" when I bought the second preorder.

Did anyone actually know that the second preorder is going to be a gen2 gun? I was under the impression it was just a second run of already shown rifles. Never mind the perpetual "they are in paint" bulldhit.
