*** December Purchases ***

It's a WWII French service pistol in 7.65mm Longue.... the funny part is, because nobody but the French ever used it, it never actually got called .32 anything, so it's restricted.

It is actually similar to a Sig P210, both were designed by Charles Petter. You can see more pictures for it here:

M1 Garand

Still learning about these, this is one I have been after for some time, I think it is an early one. Thanks for looking, sorry for the poor pics:)

Thanks Steve, I think it is late 1941 or early 42, not sure. But I like it. Take care Steve, Happy Holidays!

Great looking M1!!! That type 1 sight would sell for over $400 on e-bay BY ITSELF. Does it have the 7th round stoppage mod? Is the front sight screw cap still in place? Does it have the milled or unmilled pad in the trigger housing?

Thank you Gentlemen, as I type I continue to learn. I am grossly uninformed on M1 rifles, even though I have owned a few in my time. Claven, I have to check, I really didn't give her a good going over before I put her away. I am very grateful for your help, Gentlemen! Thanks again!!

Thanks Gentlemen, could not have done it without the expertise of the members on these forums! Thanks again!

Long Branch No 4 Mk I T

I finally got my ultimate rifle, a Long Branch No 4 Mk I T rifle, from member Stencollector. All matching and in very nice condition. Not something you find for sale just any day and when you get the chance...best jump on it.
This rifle is complete with an REL No 32 Mk 3 scope,(scope number matches buttstock, bracket number matches rifle serial number) leather lens covers, leather sling, No 15 chest and scope tin with strap(which is Brit)

Hey Cantom you thief...those are my (fuzzy) pictures. And my slipper is showing in the first one.

Are you sure that sling is on properly? :)

Glad it went to a guy who would love it as much as I did. Just wait until I get to show off the gun that is replacing it.

I knew that sling thing would come back to bite me...I guess I can say it's on as properly as the manual that came with this rifle said it should be...(where's that manual again???)...;)
