Mine also has the 'not english make' mark...this seems to be a later mark when these guns were re-issued to the home guard in the '40s

Look for another date on the stock wrist(behind the trigger guard)...Mine is marked HM 1943 there

fixed mag...the load with a single (5 shot) charger just like a enfield though
