Decent Chrono for 308?

I recently started reloading for 308 and I've started considering to get a chrono.

Are there any chronos you guys will recommend?

probably the best handloading investment I made, after the ChargeMaster.

A basic Chrony is light years ahead of no chrony. If you are serious about your ammo, the next one up will remember a string of shots up to 10 and then a ta push of a button read back the hi, the low, the extreme spread, average velocity and the Standard deviation. Very handy for recording info.

Made in canada, too.

I use Shooting Chrony F1, works good for my load development. Im sure theres better, but for my occasional use it was $100 well spent.

Get one with the screen on the cable, that way you don't have to use your scope to see the numbers

Yes, the remote screen is a must.

I have a beta master chrony. I've never had an error unless someone shoots a big bore right beside me.

Having the remote is a definite plus as I doubt I could read the LCD from 12 feet away with my ageing eyes.

A good investment IMHO you don't always have to get the best of the best.

I have a chrony as well, works good. The remote read out is very nice to have.
