Decent EEE wide hunting boots

Propoet make large wide shoes. I wear a 14 G (WWWWW). They fit fine. I actually bought a pair of winter boots that are a bit large, even for me.. Have to lace them up tight to keep from slopping around.

I need a new pair, too. I have a bunionette on my right foot and after a couple of hours in my all leather hunting boots, it hurts like hell. (and gets cold quicker too).

If I'm on my stand, my Sorels get duty and they're pretty good (decently wide and warm) but there is no way I'd ever go bushwhacking with them - they'd last about a hunderd meters.

Tagged for further info.

I did the same for ice fishing, got a pair of those extreme cold Sorels, I went size 13 to get the width. I call them my moon boots. You can't seriously walk in them more than a hundred yards or so, but for sitting, I think the rest of my body would be frozen solid before my feet even got cool.

The winter boots I have (which I hope to take ice fishing this year, if it gets cold enough), are Baffin (http://www .baffin.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=23550000)

I'm going to put them on in a few minutes and go outside to shovel snow. I hate shoveling snow unless it gets me to a hut/hole in the ice somewhere.

Ok, after a return to the companies website, www.originalswat.com I see that 12W means 12 EEE.

Unfortunately, they have only one insulated design that I can see, (Air 9" All Leather Tactical SZ - 1234)

and that has a zipper up the side. I'm not very comfortable with that.

Got a return email from Cabela, they tell me that they have NO hunting boots in 12 EEE.

WTF? 12EEE is not that uncommon.

one insulated design, that's weird, the pair I have have aren't zipper (of course, as I said earlier, they're at least 6 years old).

That seems pretty dumb- insulated usually means snow, and zipper usually means fail, and never the two should meet.

I think I'm more inclined than ever to keep this pair in good order.
