Gents,

Just got a CX4 storm and a tik tac in 308 and I need to feed them.

Locally there isnt a good supply of ammo.

Online where/what is the best priced ammo that is of reasonable quality (I dont want anything corrosive that will jam etc...doesnt have to be match quality but decent).

Figured some of you guys must have already done the leg work :D

cheers,
b

In a world where surplus 308 (762x51) is over a buck a round try wholesale sports, commercial hunting ammo 'federal' 150-180 gr for 15.99 a box.......

Good luck. I and a sea of others are looking for the same great ammo deal. Best ammo deals I ever get are at gunshows. In my experience buying ammo online is more expensive than buying factory at your local outdoor store. Especially if you add in shipping costs. Online deals are non existent.

I noticed a separate thread that mentioned Wolf Bullets (remanufactured ammo from kingston, ON) as a possible lower cost supplier. Has anyone had good / bad experiences with them?

I have 8 boxes of (20).160 rounds in total for $175.00 plus I will throw in (1 )20 rd box of blanks.Samson

This belongs in the EE...
And when did surplus sell for over a buck a round? Seriously, has it reached the point where this is considered a deal? Just askin'...

i've seen SA surplus .308 over a dollar a round....

best deal for 9mm is Wolverine i believe link at top^^^^

Remington's UMC packs of 250 rounds for around $70 s a good deal as well but they seem to be getting scarce and more expensive....

for .308 factory ammo is looking cheaper and cheap as surplus prices go higher and higher........

Reload. Even with the horrible increases in component prices, I can make 9mm for $185/k +/- including buying the brass.

And that's Frontier electroplated bullets, Vihta Vouri powder, and Federal primers.

where is locally, in SW ontario, AIM projectiles has pretty good prices on bulk 9mm bullets, and I have been told that they are top quality. (haven't gotten out to test them yet)

samson is still sleeping and hasn't woken from his dream yet lol.

you can get m80 ball spec 147gr fmj pmc from target sports for .85 a pop. (and it ain't over 20 years old & its reloadable)
