Annies are beauties, but they are a grand or more to get into, and they are not twice as accurate as a CZ, IMHO

The used rack and an understanding of rebranded West German firearms will set you free, and for less than a new CZ.

Don't get me wrong, I like CZs. I will have to get a FS one day with a nice little gloss scope on it for chasing rabbits; but the triggers on them just aren't in the same ball-park as the lowest model of Annie.

I'd actually put the Savage accu-trigger ahead of the CZ unit.

To the OP: Look around for a used BRNO. They are frequently less than a new CZ and the workmanship is as good or better.
Cheers,
Grant

While the Accutrigger on my MkIIF delivers decent pull and feel, my CZ Varmint's trigger is way better but it was tuned by Shane at Reliable Gun in Vancouver. For free, when I bought the Varmint years ago. Maybe go for the 453 with set trigger.

Now Annies are a different animal, of course. Had a 1416 with set-trigger and sold it during a dumb moment.

I would love to have a BRNO one day.

D man

You've got the starter set, I quite like them too. My full stock is the best of the bunch for grouping at the range. I still can't believe that the fellow I bought that rifle from would have wanted to sell it, a real sweeet heart,
Hey have you guys heard that CZ is bringing out new models for 2010, called 455 and 456. FS

I went to Lebaron yesterday and looked at a CZ 452 American and a Savage Mark II-G and the choice was pretty obvious. I put a cheap Bushnell 3-9x rimfire on it and took it to the range today. Almost every 5 shot group was cloverleafed at 50 yards with every kind of ammo I used. I'm very impressed with this gun!

CZ, why? Pick them up and shoulder them, decision made. Also check out RFC. oops late again, good decision Satcom

CZ for sure!If you can find a BRNO model #3 or #4,i'd jump at it without thinking.I just sold my LUX.The LUX is a beautiful tac driver, but i needed some money to fund another project.I have a BRNO model #3 and it is a lazer and i love it!As good as the LUX is,the #3 kills it!
