Decide the Fate of an m/96b Swede

I got one from Tradex in full military configuration, but it has a bent bolt and has been drilled for diopters and a side mounted scope-is this what you had in mind originally for your rifle?

Sort of, my plan was to use a 1940's vintage Weaver k4 with a set of modern rings to make myself a pseudo-sniper clone. Not correct by any imagination of the mind but a so called "toy" to play with and as close as I will likely ever get to a 2000-3000 dollar vintage sniper rifle.

Now I intend to leave the rifle as issued, though
