Changing the bottom to the standard SVD base will make it perfect. Situated similar to how the current Type 81 SR setup is.
RS regulate mounts are just a side mount, not the side rail that is attached to the gun. What determines which RS mount us compatible depends on how high the side rail is attached to your gun.
People running the RS regulate mounts on their Type 81s either got them clamped to a TI Kobra side rail, a modified Drill and Tapped side rail or a 3rd rail option that i personally cant disclose yet.
Can you confirm the RS Regulate side rail does work with the Kobra Side mount plate. I have an opportunity to buy one but its a lot of money to spend to find out. Was thinking forward bias with the aimpoint base.
i can do closer if you need. that solution that is working for me: the kobra mount, vomz pilad weaver rail mount and a bushnell 1-4 aar.
Forward bias would freak me out. Sometimes Chicom guns randomly spit a shell backwards. I would go rear mount.
whats the harm, wouldn't the brass just hit the bottom of the optic mount?
