Deep Curl load

I picked up a box of Speer Deep Curl .308, 180 grain bullets in Winnipeg at Cabelas. There is a warning in the box to only use their receipts located on their website. It states:

"DeepCurl's unique construction process joins the jacket to the core at the molecular level for excellent performance and consistency. For this reason conventional reloading data developed for standard jacketed bullets should not be used to load DeepCurl bullets. Only DeepCurl specific reloading data released by Speer Bullets should be used".

I checked the Speer website and found the receipts for 180 grain 308 Winchester but it doesn't list H4895 powder but does list IMR4895.
I checked the Hodgdon website and they don't list Deep Curl bullets. The burning rate for the two powders are very close with IMR4895 being slightly faster (Hornaday manual).

My question, anyone have any experience loading 180 grain Deep Curl bullets in a 308 Winchester using H4895 powder?
Is this warning something I should be concerned with?
If I use H4895 powder were would you start your load at?

I wanted to have a 2400 fps load for deer hunting.
I also sent a email to Speer asking them about the H4895 powder.
 
Call Speer and talk to customer service. There should be contact info on your bullet box.

They will sort you out.
 
I sent them an email yesterday, no reply yet. I did call Hodgdon and they couldn't' give me a starting load in H4895 because they haven't done any work with Speer DeepCurl yet, they have the boxes of bullets but are waiting for the boss to give the orders. But he did insulate what scott585 is saying, start 10% below the IMR4895 starting point and work up.

Patience Grasshopper Patience...
The fine people at Speer will get back to you asap I am sure.
Give it another day or two to get the info you seek from Speer themselves or if you must start with the reduce load mentioned or use a powder you have a recipe from their manual.
I have had great responses when asking for information from Sierra and Barnes in the past.
Just takes a day or three dependant on how busy they are.

This is a little bit apples and oranges but,
I swiched from 180gr hornady sst to 180 gr deep curls in my 30-06 and lost 100 fps.
Starting low and working up is always good advice.
