Deer at the Skeet Club

We get deer up at our trap club all the time, just not as close as yours was. Especially in the winter. It's cool to see the out there.

It's pretty crazy. The feed actually gets put out for wild turkeys. You haven't lived until you've seen a flock of turkeys take to the air and ponder how such an awkward bird can actually fly.

The geese and ducks should be back shortly. Usually there are a bunch of Hungarian Patridge.

It makes for a lot of frustration when you see them so often, but can't shoot them.

Brad.

Nope those guys are shooting and he doesn't even flinch. We had to chase him off the range by waving the range flag at him and yelling scram. I put out some rolled oats for him but he prefers the corn.

Anyone ever seen the turkeys that hang out at the Uxbridge club???

They are too funny....everytime someone shoots, the whole flock ducks at the same time and then go right back to feeding.

Was there to see it. We had one walk under the trap house the trap house while we were shooting. It never even flinched with clay breaking 30ft over her head!

It looks like you almost have him trained to climb up on the table!!!

If you could teach him to climb directly into the deep freeze or into the sausage grinder, then I would be impressed!!!

The Connaught Range is filled with deer. I couple of years back I was making a Kitchen run there to fill some hay-boxes and I must of counted over of a hundred of them... The base wanted to open a hunting season over there, but they backed off cause of the municipal regs of Kanata...

at the gun club in olds where i live there are 3 geese that fly about 30 meters of the deck everytime i shoot there its pretty cool next time im going to get a picture and i will for sure post it

Nice pics.

Last fall I saw a very nice 8 point buck wander across the driveway while going into Galt one Wednesday evening. I've also come upon a fawn that was standing near one of the shooting cages. He stood and watched us shoot the station and then wandered off. The gunfire didn't bother him at all.
