X5 for the True Talker!!I've been using grunt tubes since long before they were so popular that every deer hunter in the woods had to have one around their neck.1st kid on my block to have one,so to speak?I've had at least 10-12 different makes/models over the last 20 years, from hands-free minis to magnums....the TT is my all time favorite.IMHO,it produces the most realistic, deep, guttural buck grunts of any that I've used, and the ability to switch sounds instantly without frigging with o-rings or fumbling for another call altogether is very hunting situation friendly.Rubber-coated,it doesn't "clack" against other gear.I'm guessing it's a combination of the wooden barrel and rubber coating that gives it the superior,non-plastic-like,authentic sound? It's one of the few products that I've owned that would make the "must replace" list if/when I lost it...in fact,I really should have a spare or three on standby, being as I feel disadvantaged and somewhat naked on occasion when I've ventured into the deer woods without it,left it in truck etc.Losing it mid-week on a 6 day trip would wreak havoc with my confidence level.
BTW,I am in no way affilliated with HS,TT,nor any other hunting products or retailers....just an honest,IMHO review of a superior product from an avid deernut.Hands down, the TT is the best sounding, easiest to use, most versatile range of deer vocalisations,non-clanging/soft coated grunt tube I've ever used.
