Deer calls for Eastern Whitetails.

I have had alot of fun calling deer with the original True Talker call. It fell apart out in the bush last year and I lost some parts. I bought the next best thing which is a True Talker II. It sounds a bit....pitchier...will probably still work good but I found the original was easier to make a variety of calls with.
Keep in mind deer are not usually as responsive to calling as moose or elk but it still can work. Spend some time at it and once you start hearing real deer vocalize you will learn some tricks.

Another +1 for the original true talker. Mine also fell apart after almost a decade of use, the reed assembly fell out of the call. It was a relatively quiet callbut made very realistic sounds. My buddy picked up the true talker II but it doesn't sound quite as good.
