Deer Cleaned and Gutted in under 3 min

Deer was also freshly killed so skin was easily removed. None the less it looks like he has done that before and knows how to sharpen a knife.

God damned impressive... but it you can drag a deer with the guts in it out of the stuff we shoot 'em in, and at the size we shoot 'em, then you're a more determined man than I.

We get 'em gutted in about 5 minutes tops, but they're a hell of a lot lighter to drag through 200 yds of bush... haha!

That was still pretty damn impressive though. Seriously.

There's no way I'd drag a deer out of the woods with the guts in it. Impressive none the less.

A big frame (or a friend) and a big sled. I have only had one deer that I field dressed. All others have been while they were hanging. I much prefer it.

Moose are a different story.

What knife was that? Looked like a Rapala style fillet knife.

I gut most of my deer in the field, because I'm dragging it by hand. Skinning later at camp.
And yes, skinning a warm hanging deer, guts still in is a hell of a lot easier.

Not in my neck of the woods. Lots of gullies and agriculture means sometimes you have to drag up and down hills, through swamps, across creeks, tight brush and sometimes an easy 800-900 yards to the nearest road, some farmers don't want the atv in their fields. So, for the sake of 5 mins field dressing, dropping 40 or so pounds of guts and not having to get rid of it after, means I'll never not field dress one. ;) Whatever works best for your situation, though...
