Deer down!!! (pics)

THE .270 IS MINE HE BETTER NOT BE USING IT!!!!:D It's a good thing you got rid of that rifle Mark, a .270 would never have killed that deer, you deffinately needed the 30/06:p. The sps won't be a .270 for long, it's getting turned into a 6.5/06 Ackley.

....................Martin, i'll keep this one. ;) I always have an 06 in the safe. The trigger is a tad mushy. I ordered a Timney last night online. Hopefully just one more shot for the season with said mushy trigger. I have tagged up with a local elk hunter and things look really good for a bull in the upcoming couple weeks.
 
Wow... that was a very healthy animal for what looks like a 2 1/2... huge in fact! Nice rifle by the way... about time to closet them antiques and canopeners you normally use.;)
Seriously... congrats on the deer and the rifle, I hope the rest of your season is just as good!:)
