Scenario:

  • Automatic deer-feeder, set to spread twice a day for about 10 seconds each time.
  • Feeder is attached to a 5-gallon pale full of corn.

Approximately how long before the corn runs out?

hi,

To start with, you need the size of the hole, otherwise, it could be empty before the 10sec expires.. or go for a week with a single 5 gallons.;)

Not enough info to answer....

Yorgi, I've got what I think is the same thing your using, is it the day/night feeder that runs on a 6 volt battery and you can adjust the spread time?

If so I can put a full bag of corn in and it lasts for over a month but I don't know what speed or length of time I've got it set at but I'm heading to my dads Sunday if you'd like me to look.
I'm using a stainless steel garbage can that I mounted it to.

Thanks PaulT and MadDog!

The feeder that I'm thinking of buying is Bass Pro's American Hunter R-Kit. Don't have the manual in front of me but I guess the hole in the pale would probably measure 2-3" across.
