Just got a deer and just finished eating the heart. Thin sliced pieces/chunks. Fried in onions , shrooms and butter. Delicious.

adds some brandy or Armagnac light it and adds some sour cream after-all,it will be even better ...

Anyone eat the heart?
There is always the risk of parasites. You might want to be careful.

I intended to this year, but a well placed 180gr Partition made it not so delicious looking.
