OK, This is the Q. I have a brand new Browning b-80 Semi-Auto. It was built in 85 and is still in the box, never even been loaded or fired. I hunt whitetails in close terrain in Central Ontario. Never take a shot further out than 40-50 yards. Most often 20-40. I normally use my bow or an old .303, but came across this gun the typical old guy never used it and wanted to get rid of scenario.
Now I have this situation. Do break the seal, get rings mounted on it for a red dot scope and start firing it. (It is a beautiful gun and I itch to fire off a few rounds with or without a red dot.)
Or do I try and sell it to a collector or otherwise and buy a more modern gun that'll take bigger shells or even have a rifled barrell. It's driving me crazy because it seems like such a beautiful shot gun.
