I'm in need of one hunter for the 2nd week of deer season to hunt in Algonquin Park,Ontario_Over the last couple yrs we've had a couple guys start to drop out as they can't handle the walking as theres no vehicle travel .We use hounds as well.If interested please pm or email me.Would be nice if you can apply for WMU 54.I will give details and pics of camp with your reply.

What? No interview, you'll just take anybody 'off the street'... :eek:

I've heard horror stories of hunt camps that bring in unknown guys. The father-in-laws camp had a real ####-show years ago, with a couple of lads. That one ended badly. They were never allowed back.

Wish you success, and hey, you might end up meeting a great guy.
 
Whenever I've needed new guys in camp I ask here first,then an interveiw and then make a desicion who's going to fit in best and never gone wrong !!! CGN guys have been great in camp.
 
I know there are hunt camps inside the park, but just curious, what part of the park you Hunt in? How do you interact with hikers, visitors to the park?
 
No other people around when were hunting.The part of the park where hunting is allowed is the south end west of Whitney.Not many people even use that part of it as theres not much there at all compaired to the interior of the park where there's lots to do.I don't think theres even camping at that end as no camp grounds.
 
Nov. 11th - 17th.

Hunted in the same area for 10 years, and met up with 88man there. Great hunting, no traffic or tourists, but work commitments have kept me away.
 
It's great. Boot camp if you are a fat bastard like me. You will NOT go
hungry. Guys are all good and everyone lends a hand and helps each
other out. Great week and comradeship.
Dont forget to bring coat hangers if you want somewhere to hang your
coat.

Looking forward to this year.
