How many stomachs does a deer have? Name them! Answer to follow in a couple days...if you need it...Google is your friend. Respectfully Jim

I knew four and rumen but when you pull everything out onto the ground, who is able to count.
The big one is the rumen and can occupy a lot of space early in the morning when they are coming out of the field.

More like a "deer anatomy question" than a hunter quiz. Although a hunter should know that a deer has to lay down to chew its cud. That is why they feed and then lay down.

On moon lit nights they feed during the night and lay down to chew in the morning when most hunters go out to wait for moving deer. Then when the hunters take a midday break for lunch and a snooze the deer get up and feed again. Then when the hunters go out for their afternoon vigil the deer are back laying down chewing.

I guess technically it's one with 4 compartments, however one is joined by a tube, the others by a membrane, with a muscled opening. And it's not a hunting Question, until you hit one there with a big rifle. The 5th one Jim is the double lung, heart area further forward.LOL
