well i know its still a few months away but im starting the planing of a cupple of weekned hunting trips and i would just like some guideance on what areas to start my search for deer

Yeah, go right into town, wait for one of them to cross at a cross walk. Bring an apple, a pocket knife and a ball peen hammer with you.. About 2 pound will work best, good combination of mass and velocity.

Wait for deer to cross to your side of the road, cut the apple in half so it can smell it and it will try to eat it. You know the rest :)

Just kidding. There's no hunting or shooting outside of the sportsman's range on Kaien Island. Most of the bush from where you leave the skeena river, over rainbow summit and to the bridge to the island is pretty thick but there is a powerline, etc that might provide a little open ground.

I'm not too sure, there are deer there, but I would probably try halfway between rupert and Terrace or so, where the forest comes back to interior style trees from the rainforest of the coast.

I would love to hear anyone with better advice, I do go up there sometimes.
