So is deadly nightshade or belladona, yet we use it for heart medications (digitalis), atropine (for allergic reactions), Anesthetic, abdominal pains, menstrual ailments, Pain reliever, Muscle relaxer, anti-inflammatory and several other medicinal uses. Warfarin is rat poison, yet is used as a blood thinner to treat cardiac patients. Would you like me to go on? I can, you know.
Although Chlorine is poisonous (and can also be used as an explosive, but that's another thread), it still manages to find its way into our daily lives as...what was that again...? Ahh, yes,... water Purification. Billions DRINK THIS DANGEROUS POISON!!! Pools are made safe with it. Stop the madness!! Ban purified water!!
I guess anyone getting a mouth full of pool water from the municipal pool has a right to file a suit if the contract cancer. Or maybe from the municipal drinking water.
