Deer out back...

I don't usually poke my head in here as I'm not a hunter but I thought those of you that don't wander into OT might appreciate some pics of the deer I'm getting out back...

Seeing deer in that setting is always exciting.....
I have lived in my area for 35 years...deer were everywhere, as were rabbits fox, and other small critters.....progress has fixed all that....nothing around now but shopping malls and other buildings....

I'm about 5 minutes south of U of Guelph... certainly within city limits.

From my deck I can see the north end of the Hanlon Creek Conservation Area... I'm not sure what the conservation area out back is called.

Mild winter and no snow below HWY 9....Lots of snow north of that...Deer had to dig for food like always....

Those does are all carrying young... very obvious. If you are lucky you may get to see some fawns drop. Watch them closely during the next full moon!
