Deer seasons in Ontario

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me, do the weeks for gun season (deer) change much from year to year or do they stay about the same? I.e. If it was the first week of November this year will it be the first week of November again next year?

I have only been hunting two years, only this year with a rifle, so I have no idea about this.

The reason I am asking is that I am going to be getting married in the fall and am "allowed" to plan around hunting season. Unfortunately, I don't know when 2010s regulations will be published, and need to give an answer as to acceptable dates asap.

Like someone else said, gun hunting starts on the Monday of the 1st full week of Nov.(with some exceptions).

Yup I heard a lot of guys this year took ML season off from the first Monday in Dec only to find out the opener was the last Monday in November this year.
 
They didnt change the Muzzleloader date. It has always (I know its only a coupel years ols) the first monday after Nov 28. It just happened to always fall the first week of December until this year. And yes the regular rifle seasons starts Nov 1 this year.

Interesting, I and most guys I know always assumed it was the first Mon in Dec.
