Just found it out, ESP, Enhanced Service Pistol, SSP Stock Service Pistol. I guess that means I'm SSP not ESP.

Thanks!! I was reading it then came back to find your post...guess I should have waited a few more minutes before going internet search crazy!

The IDPA divisions are SSP (Stock Service Pistol for most of the pistols of 9mm to .40 caliber), ESP (Enhanced Service Pistol for the single-action or selective SA/DA guns), CDP (Custom Defensive Pistol for the "Big Bore" shooters of 10mm, . 400 Cor-Bon, or .45 ACP), and SSR (Stock Service Revolver for the Wheel Guns).

You're about five years out of date.

CDP is now only for .45 ACP chambered semi autos. ;)

There are now two revolver divisions: ESR (moon clips) and SSR (speedloaders)

That was my first DP match, and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. Pretty laid back and friendly atmosphere. And lunch and a door prize too, w00t!

Of course it rained, but after the flooded L2 at FRPC last weekend, it's kinda becoming a tradition. :)

What a great day. Thanks to Geoff and his guys for setting up a great match, you are all a great bunch of guys. It was nice to meet a lot of fellow CGNer's.

Thanks again to everyone who came out.

I checked the long term forecast and we're assured hail and 35 plus degree weather for the three gun.
So don't forget your camel backs and brain buckets.

I've gone old school and combined my tactical re hydration system with my old worn out 1980 blue jays " not be used as a real batting helmet " helmet.
